Elevate your client experience: new questions for 2024

What have you resolved to do differently this year? How about adding some new questions to your repertoire?

These questions (and close attention paid to the answers) will help you elevate your client and team experience in 2024.

Ask your client:
  • “How can we make sure we stay in touch in the best way possible?”
  • “How would you like me to keep you up to date on progress?”
  • “What kind of issues would you like my input on?”
  • “What would be the ideal outcome for you from this project/situation/challenge?”
  • “We’re working together to do something complicated here. What is it that you’re most worried about?”
  • “How can we make sure we minimise unwelcome surprises?”
  • “How do you know you’re getting value from us as we deliver this project?
  • “What steps can we take to collectively make sure our teams get some downtime when they need it/have it booked/are entitled to it?”
Ask your team:
  • “What skills/experience/insight are you hoping to take away at the end of your involvement in this project? How can I help ensure you get those opportunities?”
  • “What are you bringing into this project that you really hope you get a chance to do more of?”
  • “How can I help ensure you have a decent working environment? Is there anything in particular you are concerned about?”

Let's talk about your client experience. What is working well, and what could you pay more attention to. What do your clients say when they talk about your services? What do you want them to say? When did you last ask them?
